Sue Loring

Director

Sue has worked at the Center since 1998. Sue served as the Assistant Director for five years and has been the Director since 2006. Prior to joining the staff at the Center Sue served on the Family Steering Committee. Sue is a Registered Nurse, and before having children worked as Nurse Manager of a substance abuse unit at a local hospital. She serves on the North Central Area Citizen's Advisory Board for the Department of Developmental Disabilities, the Advisory Board for CANDI at UMass Medical, The AUCD Massachusetts Act Early Task force, the Executive Board of Advocates for Autism of Massachusetts and is a member of the Governor's Special Commission Relative to Autism. She and her husband Bill have three adult children, including a son with autism. Sue also has a niece and nephew on the spectrum.
