SUMMARY:Mossy Plant Monsters
DESCRIPTION:Explore the benefits of houseplants\, learn basic care requirements\, and get introduced to the\nJapanese planting style of Kokedama. Each child will create their own miniature Kokedama\ndisplay as they plant an easy to care for houseplant in a ball of moss. We will bring our plants to\nlife by adding ‘monstrous’ details including googly eyes\, pipe cleaner arms and legs\, and more.\nNotes: Participants should enjoy learning about plants and be able to tie and wrap\nindependently or with support. Participants may get messy and wet while handling damp\,\nsquishy plant material and soil. Adult helpers are required for children under the age of 9.
