Bethany Jensen

Position: Autism Waiver Program Manager
508-298-1617

Bethany Jensen brings a lifelong passion for supporting individuals with special needs to her role at Autism Resource Center. Her journey in the field began in middle school, when she volunteered with the “Circle of Friends” program, traveling throughout Worcester County to perform educational puppet shows alongside peers with special needs.

In high school, Bethany continued her volunteer work, supporting classmates with learning disabilities in the school choir by helping them learn lyrics and harmonies, an experience that deepened her love for both education and music. Today, music remains an important part of her life, and she occasionally contributes background vocals to her husband’s Christian rock band, Faith’s Road.

Bethany’s professional experience includes working in group homes, with the Department of Youth Services (DYS), and later as a Special Education Teacher’s Assistant at the Durham Center for Education, where she began her direct work with the autism community. After the birth of her son, she transitioned to serving as an in-home ABA therapist, allowing her to balance her passion for helping others with time at home with her growing family.

Bethany is committed to making meaningful connections with the families she serves and brings a wealth of compassion, experience, and dedication to her work.
