Adult: 5K Runner or Walker ages 18+ $35
Adult: 1 Mile Walker or Event Attendee ages 18+ $15
Teen: Runner, Walker, or Event Attendee ages 13-17 $10 with a registered adult
Kids: Fun Run or Event Attendee ages 12 and under $5 with a registered adult

Volunteers help bring out the Autism Superhero in us all!

Event Shift | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM | assist with getting the park ready for attendees, setting up vendor displays, welcoming attendees at registration, keeping the 5K course safe, operating family-friendly event activities, and selling raffle tickets

Clean-Up Shift | 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | assist with collecting HMEA’s Autism Resource Central’s materials from Polar Park and packing up for next year

5K COURSE INFO

  • Check-In Time: 7:30am to 9:30am
  • Certified USATF course around Downtown Worcester.
  • Cost: If you wish to participate in the 5K course around downtown Worcester, regardless of whether you’re walking or running, you must pay the 5K course rate.
    • Adults 18+: $35
    • Teens 13-17: $10
  • Anyone who registers prior to April 1st will receive a free event t-shirt.
  • All 5K course registrants will receive a participation medal. Each category has prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Where is Polar Park?

Where do I park?

There are roughly 350 spaces available across the street at the Green Island Boulevard garage located at 10 Green Island Blvd, Worcester, MA 01604. Please see below for information on pricing.

 

You can get information about additional parking on the Polar Park website at www.milb.com/worcester/ballpark/parking

Where do I check in at Polar Park?

If you have already picked up your race bib and t-shirt, you can check in at Gate C located on Washington Street. Walk up the ramp until you see the Rodenheiser Gate C sign.

If you have not registered or picked up your race materials in advance, please check in at the front of Polar Park on Madison Street.

How do I register?

Use the registration form at the bottom of this page to register to attend the 2025 Autism Superhero 5K as a runner, walker, or event attendee. Please note that registering for the event doesn’t automatically put you on a team or start your fundraising page. You must go to our JustGiving site to start your fundraising page and create or join a team. See “How do I start fundraising?” below for instructions.

What time is check-in?

Check-in for the Autism Superhero 5K is from 7:30am to 9:30am on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Day of registration is available, but we strongly recommend preregistering using the form below to make your pre-race check-in quicker.

How do I get my t-shirt and race bib?

You can pick up your t-shirt and bib during registration and check-in on the day of the event. However, we strongly encourage you to stop by the Center and check in beforehand. Anyone who picks up their packet in advance will be able to take advantage of a priority entrance into Polar Park.

How do I start fundraising?

We’re so glad you asked! You can set up your fundraising page for the Autism Superhero 5K at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/arcsuperhero5k.

Click on the orange START FUNDRAISING button to create your account and get your page set up or join one of the already-created teams listed in the right-hand column. Please note, creating a fundraising page or team does not automatically register you for the event, you must use the registration form at the bottom of this page to attend the event as a runner, walker, or attendee.
